MANGO MASTANI
Mango Mastani ( Pune style )
This is a popular Mango drink sold in Pune.
Basically similar to mango milkshake with a few differences.
Some people say , Mastani Drink is named after Queen Mastani , wife/ lover of Peshwa Ruler Bajirao.
Here I have used Thai Mango as Alphonso mango wasnt available.. hence the colour is not as bright orange as it should be.

Mango Mastani
INGREDIENTS:
2 fully ripe Alfonso Mangoes( can use canned mango puree)
½ cup Cream
¼ cup milk
2 tbsp Sugar( or according to taste)
3-4 scoops of Vanilla or mango ice cream
Chopped pistachios and almonds for garnish
Few cubes of mango for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
Peel and chop mangoes into small pieces
Add them to a blender
Blend to make a smooth purée( do not add any water)
Now add sugar
Add cream and milk
Blend everything together
The consistency should be thick like a milkshake . You can adjust with more milk if needed
Now add 1- 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream into the blender
Blend for 10 sec
Your silky smooth, creamy delicious Mango Mastani is ready
Serve immediately
SERVE
Pour mango Mastani in a tall glass
Add a scoop of ice cream
Top off with few mango pieces and chopped nuts
Add a dollop of fresh cream
