PARSI MAWA CAKE
INGREDIENTS
1 1/4 cup all purpose flour ( maida)
2eggs , room temp
100 gms khoya or mawa
6 tbsp butter , unsalted , room temp 85gms
1cup sugar
6 tbsp milk
Handful of almonds and pistachios
½ tsp green cardamom powder
½ tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
INSTRUCTIONS
cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Use hand electric mixer
Add khoya
Whisk for 2 mins
Add eggs one at a time and whisk the mix for 1min
Add baking powder and pinch of salt
Now add flour
Mix everything with a spatula first and then use the hand mixer
Add milk and whisk until everything combines
Add cardamom powder and a few chopped nuts and mix
Transfer to a cake pan
Top off with almond and pistachios
Bake at 180 c
