MALVANI SURAN CHI AAMTI
INGREDIENTS
¼-½ kg Suran, cubed, pan-fried
1onion, finely sliced
½ onion chopped
1 cup dry coconut, sliced or grated
2 tsp ginger -garlic paste
3-5 kokum
1 tsp cumin seeds
1-2 Bay leaf
Oil
Water
½ -1 tsp Shilpa’s Masala Mill Sambhar Masala
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat pan
Add sliced onion and dry roast for a few minutes
Now add 1 tsp oil and continue to roast
Add dry coconut and roast until golden brown
Add cumin seeds and roast for a min
Cool the mix and then grind to a fine paste
Heat oil in a kadhai
Add bay leaf, chopped onions and fry
Add ginger-garlic paste
Add Malvani Masala and Sambhar Masala and mix well.
Add the yam and mix
Add water and bring to a boil
Add the ground paste
add kokum
Add salt and simmer covered for 10-12 minutes
That’s it, Malvani Suran chi AAMTI is ready
Garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy with rice,bhakri
