SALLI PER EEDA
PARSI STYLE EGGS ON POTATO Crispies/straws
INGREDIENTS
3-4 eggs
1cup sali + garnishing
1tbsp oil
1green chilli ,finely chopped
1inch ginger ,finely chopped
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 medium tomato , finely chopped
¼ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
½ tsp Dhansak masala ( optional)
Salt to taste
1tbsp fresh coriander , chopped
INSTRUCTIONS
HEAT oil in a pan
Add green chillies,ginger and onion and sauté until onion turns golden
Add tomatoes and mix
Add all the powdered spices and salt
Cook for 10 mins until tomatoes are softened
Add ½ cup water , mix and cook for 1-2 mins
Add salli and mix gently.spread it out evenly in the pan
Add little chopped coriander
Make wells in the mix and add the raw eggs
Sprinkle some salt and cover and cook for 3-4 mins ( until eggs are cooked to your liking)
That’s it, your Delicious Salli per EEDA is ready
Serve hot garnished with some salli and coriander leaves
