METHI NA GOTA (METHI PAKORA)
INGREDIENTS
1tbsp roasted and coarsely ground black pepper
1 tbsp roasted and coarsely ground coriander seeds
1 cup fenugreek leaves, washed and chopped
2 tbsp garlic, crushed
2 tbsp ginger, crushed
2 tbsp green chilli paste
½ cup coriander leaves chopped
2 tbsp sugar
½ tsp Hing
1 ½ cup besan
½ tsp lemon juice
Salt
½ tsp baking soda
Water as needed
Oil for frying
INSTRUCTIONS
In a bowl add methi with all other ingredients except besan , baking soda and lemon juice
Now add besan, water and make thick batter using water
Heat oil for frying
Add 1 tbsp of hot oil to the batter
Lastly add baking soda and lemon juice to the batter and immediately start frying the gotas
Fry on medium flame until golden
Serve hot with chutney, sliced onions and fried green chilies
