TOFU IN BLACK PEPPER SAUCE

INGREDIENTS3 cloves of garlic2shsllots 1inch Ginger 1white onion, roundels 1-2 tsp black pepper powder1tbsp oyster sauce 1-2 tsp sweet soya sauce ½ carrot ,cut into thick strips1.5 tsp corn flour¼ cup waterSalt to taste½ green capsicum ,cubed½ red capsicum ,cubedChopped green onion for garnish Tofu INSTRUCTIONSPOUND the garlic, shallots and ginger to fine paste Cut and Fry tofu with cornflour. Keep aside Fry the pound paste in same oil Add 1-2 onion rings reserving rest for later use Fry Add black pepper powderAdd  tofu Add all the saucesAdd water if neededAdd carrots Cover and cook for few minsAdd cornflour slurry and salt Add the bell peppers Add water to adjust gravy Add separates onion rings Cook for 1-2 mins and garnish with spring onion Enjoy

  • Salt to taste

  • POUND the garlic, shallots and ginger to fine paste 

  • Cut and Fry tofu with cornflour. Keep aside 

  • Fry the pound paste in same oil

  • Fry 

  • Add black pepper powder

  • Add  tofu 

  • Add all the sauces

  • Add water if needed

  • Add carrots 

  • Cover and cook for few mins

  • Add cornflour slurry and salt 

  • Add the bell peppers 

  • Add water to adjust gravy 

  • Add separates onion rings 

  • Cook for 1-2 mins and garnish with spring onion 

  • Enjoy
