VENGAYA THAKKALI CHUTNEY ONION TOMATO CHUTNEY
INGREDIENTS
1onion, diced
2 tomato, diced
3-4 dry red chillies
4-5 garlic cloves
Tamarind
Salt
Oil
Mustard, curry leaves, split urad dal for tempering
INSTRUCTIONS
heat 1tsp oil in a pan and fry chillies and tamarind for a min
fry garlic and onions until onions turn translucent
Add tomatoes, few curry leaves and salt and fry until tomatoes soften
Cool and grind
Remove into a serving bowl
Temper, red chillies, mustard seeds, split urad dal and curry leaves in 2 tsp of oil and pour over the chutney
That’s it, your delicious and easy onion tomato chutney is ready
